Kristin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, graduating magna cum laude, with a Minor in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. She also completed a certificate in Domestic Violence and Evidence-Based Practiceand a graduate certificate in Addiction and Substance Use Disorders. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society, Tau Sigma National Honor Society, and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Kristin founded Empathy Rocks Coaching to combine her academic background with lived experience to provide informed emotional wellness support that is compassionate, practical, and empowering.

Eric Shark has built a career defined by service, courage, and a deep commitment to helping others grow through adversity. Over the years, he has worn many hats – including Pastor, Professor, and Undercover Investigator working to rescue children trapped in sex trafficking. Each role has shaped his understanding of human behavior, resilience, and the power of purpose.
Through his work in high-pressure undercover operations, Eric developed an uncommon ability to remain calm, focused, and strategic in situations that would overwhelm most people. Those experiences taught him something profound: every person is motivated differently, and unlocking that motivation is the key to transformation.
Today, Eric uses the lessons he learned in some of life’s most intense environments to help others build mental strength and resilience. He teaches people how to face pressure head-on – not by avoiding adversity, but by leaning into it and using it as a catalyst for growth.
